What is Chi-X?

Chi-X an established Securities and Derivatives exchange that is an alternative trading venue to the ASX. Your Marketech platform comes standard with ASX data, and Chi-X is likely to be offered as an option in the future.

When your ASX order is placed through your Marketech account, it is routed to the live market by a program called ‘ASX Best’. This program will automatically find you the best price available from either the ASX, or Chi-X.
