What ID is required to set up an account?
Your Australian Driver's Licence will be used to verify your identity through our online electronic verification (EV) system. For successful verification, please ensure the details on your Driver's Licence match your application exactly.
What happens if I don't pass the check?
If you do not pass the online verification check you will be required to email/upload a copy of your Australian Driver Licence with your current address for review.
Once received, we may resubmit to our EV system. If we are still unable to electronically verify you, you will be asked to upload current certified copies of your ID showing your full name and current address.
Due to the the continued rise of cybercrime, we will also request that you upload a ‘selfie’ style photograph of you holding your photo ID, for identity verification purposes. For more information on this, please see our article on ID Verification. When would I fail the check?
Generally customers that do not pass the check are those that have not been at their residential address for 3 years or more and/or have moved residential address frequently. Other reasons include expired documentation.
