Employee Documents


You can securely store documents for each employee in their Personal Details area. 
A paymaster can upload and retrieve documents in iPayroll.
Employee's cannot access these documents.

Upload a document for a person

  1. Go to People > View People and select the person you want to upload documents for.
  2. Under the Personal Details sub-menu, select Documents.
  3. Select Choose File.
  4. Browse to the location of the file you want to upload.
  5. Select the file and select Open.
  6. In the Title field, type the name of the document.
  7. If required, in the Description field, type a description for the document.
  8. Select Upload.

Access a person’s document

  1. Go to People > View People
  2. Select the person you want to upload documents for.
  3. Select Personal Details > Documents.
  4. Select the hyperlink in the Title of the document you want to access.
  5. Select the downloaded document to open it.

Archive a document

  1. Go to People > View People and select the person you want to upload documents for.
  2. Under the Personal Details sub-menu, select Documents.
  3. In the Uploaded Documents pane, select the Closed Folder icon for the document you want to archive.
  4. Select Archive.

Reinstate an archived document

  1. Go to People > View People and select the person you want to upload documents for.
  2. Under the Personal Details sub-menu, select Documents.
  3. In the Uploaded Documents pane, select Archived Files from the Filter by dropdown list.
  4. Select the Open Folder icon for the document you want to reinstate.
  5. Select Reinstate.

Delete a document

  1. Go to People > View People and select the person you want to upload documents for.
  2. Under the Personal Details sub-menu, select Documents.
  3. In the Uploaded Documents pane, select Archived Files from the Filter by dropdown list.
  4. Select the Bin icon for the document you want to delete.
  5. Select Delete.
