My Settings

Purpose

The purpose of this article is to identify and expand on the My Settings area of Gearbox which can be accessed by clicking the User icon (1) followed by your name or email address (2). The My Settings area allows you to change settings based on your Gearbox user such as:

  • Password
  • Name
  • Email notifications
  • Enable/disable dashboard  widgets
  • Auto expand More Information areas



Profile Settings


  1. First name – enter your first name
  2. Last name – enter your last name
  3. Time zone – select your time zone
  4. Language – select your language
  5. Send me daily emails on – un/tick days of the week to receive Gearbox Daily Snapshot emails
  6. User Settings
    • Maintenance Default Dashboard – change the view for Maintenance Dashboard
    • Employee Default Dashboard – change the view for Employee Dashboard
    • Compliance Default Dashboard – change the view for Compliance Dashboard
  7. Auto expand more information – un/tick to auto expand More Information (see below)
  8. Password Reset
    • Password – enter your new password
    • Password confirmation – reenter your new password
  9. Update Profile – click to save any changes made on My Settings page


Maintenance Dashboard

  1. Service Due KM – toggle between Yes/No to display or hide dashboard widget
  2. Registrations Due – toggle between Yes/No to display or hide dashboard widget
  3. Service Due Days – toggle between Yes/No to display or hide dashboard widget
  4. Tyres Open Dashboard – toggle between Yes/No to display or hide dashboard widget
  5. Service Due Hours – toggle between Yes/No to display or hide dashboard widget
  6. Repairs Open Dashboard – toggle between Yes/No to display or hide dashboard widget
  7. Reminders Due – toggle between Yes/No to display or hide dashboard widget


Employee Dashboard

  • Employee Reminders Due – toggle between Yes/No to display or hide dashboard widget
  • Medicals Due – toggle between Yes/No to display or hide dashboard widget


Compliance Dashboard


  1. Books Due – toggle between Yes/No to display or hide dashboard widget
  2. Reviews Due – toggle between Yes/No to display or hide dashboard widget
  3. Mass Due – toggle between Yes/No to display or hide dashboard widget
  4. COF Due – toggle between Yes/No to display or hide dashboard widget*
  5. NCR Due – toggle between Yes/No to display or hide dashboard widget
*COF Due only applicable for New Zealand based customers.
