Adding Repairers

Overview

Repairers tracks all repairers & suppliers contact information. It is a quick and easy way to view services, repairs, tyres, fuel records, medicals, parts and purchase orders this repairer/supplier has completed.

Manually Adding Repairers 

1. Click on Repairers (1) then in the drop down click on Repairers (2)

2. Click on Add New (3)

3. Fill in the necessary information. The only mandatory information on this screen is the Repairer Name (4), then click Create Repairer (5)
Note: You will not be able to enter information into the Services, Repairs, Tyres, Others and Parts tabs until you have created the repairer.

Adding Repairers 'On the Fly' (Settings)

'On the Fly' is a term used to describe being able to add items to a checklist on a form rather than requiring the user to navigate to settings to add the value first.

This feature may be adjusted to suit your business needs.

To display add on the fly, set REPAIR_TYPE_ADD_ON_THE_FLY to 512.
The below list shows the various permissions that can be assigned to REPAIR_TYPE_ADD_ON_THE_FLY in settings

0 = ALL users can add repairers on the fly

4 = Contractors and above users can enter repairers on the fly

32 = Standard and above users can enter repairers on the fly

128 = Managers and above users can enter repairers on the fly

256 = Only Administrators can enter repairers on the fly

512 = No users can enter repairers on the fly


1. To check if REPAIRER_ADD_ON_THE_FLY is enabled click on your User Icon (1) and then click Settings (2)

2. Click on System Parameters (3), Search (4)  REPAIRER_ADD_ON_THE_FLY make sure the Value (5) is less than 512

1. Click on Repairs (1)

2. Click on Add New (2)

3. After filling in the mandatory details, under the Repairer header start typing in the Repairer name (3), if the repairer does not currently exist the system will add "(new)" make sure to click on the item (4) in the drop down to select the new Repairer so that it saves

Adding Approved Repairers 

1. Once you have created the repairer (Steps 1-5 Manually Adding Repairers) tick 'Approved Repairer'
